How do you use skill in Maplestory?

Due to the stupid level restrictions, a person can only gain exp in a party if the person is 5 level's within the monsters level range.

A slime, for example, is level 10. In order for a person to get exp, they need to be levels 5-15.

You could try to buy lots of potions. Then you go out monsters and fight but don't pick up the money unless there are some items because it takes time to pick up everything.

EDIT: You can leech, so say if you lvl 75 you can buy hak leech. This may be patched but you can get PG leeched where 1 person has a HP warrior around the same level as you and damages any lvl monster and when they kill, you get full amount of shared exp.

First open your skill book, Then look at the bottom right of the screen as you will see a red button with a keybord thing on it, click it and now drag and drop the skills to the buttons on the soft keybord ( use the keys to use a skill!)

If you're talking about the magician powers, then all you have to do is create an account, create a character, and then leave maple island. When you are level 8, go to Ellinia and at the top of Ellinia there is a hut or house looking thing. Go in the portal and there should be an old man in the center. Double click on him, and then you will become a magician. Once you have become a magician, press "k" and there should be a list of skills there. I suggest that you scroll to the bottom of the list, and put a point on the blue magic ball attack. I'm a bit rusty on this information considering that I have not played for a few months, but that should be correct. Hope it helps.

There is two ways to use skill while fighting in Maplestory!

1. you can pull out the skill page which hot key is S then you press the certain skill button and then you will perform the skill.

2. but there is a shorter way!!!(everyone gasps) you can just drag the skill and put it on to possible space.

TIP!!!

1. a good space for a commonly used skill is to put it on the button SHIFT.

2. A summoning skill such as summoning your tiger, pet or your mechanic you should put it on A, the button A it is very useful.

WARNING!!!

All skills require SP, or skill points...

If you don't have skill points you can't perform or execute the fantastic skill...

You gain skills through job advances. Ussually job advances are at level 10, 30, 70, and 120, but some classes are different such as evan.
