How do you use text chat on wizard 101?

type in a fake birth and make sure it is at lest 13 years old

my friend said she typed in 14 or 15 but she still can't talk. But doesnt the age still stay the same year by year?

Well this is how it works, when you sign up and your age is under 13 yrs old you dont get text chat/filtered chat. In this case you MUST do the following. (under 13 yrs old) im not lying. You must have had set up a parental control account. buy subscription or any amount of crowns ONLINE with a VALID credit card. Now you have done that part. Now go to the left pane of w101 site and click "My accounts" a window will pop up. enter your password for parental controls in the box and scroll down. You will see "Filtered chat" disabled. click enable. tada you should be good to go. Just a word of Advice! You amy want to click "SAVE MY CREDIT CARD" when you buy subscription or crowns. rly hope this helps. for more info go to the w101 site and look into it in the help and support section. first you have to hit the spacebar and then the text chat will appear on the bottom of the screen. if you clicked hide or something like that you will have to click the big screen button on the bottom beside the line on the bottom. there you go! <3 :)

To get text chat in wizard101, you must know your parental controls password. Then You MAY enable text chat features. Remember, have your parents permission.
