How do you use the steam battery on steamworks island on poptropica?

What you do is once you have it, go left to Sully's place. Use the battery. To unlock the door to the shop, you have to get the white numbers at the bottom to say +05. Then click the wheel and the door will open.

Go left from the main street and find the medal crab. Then jump on it and you get the crab and the key to the steam battery.
