How do you visit other towns on Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Wii lets go to the city?

You have to go to the gate and select visit another person's town. There, you will have to have your friend select invite someone over on their D.S. in order for you to travel to his/her town. Unless this is Wi-Fi, the person must be within a 50 ft. radius.

Then he will give you an of of DS to DS which means A close friend the other option is Wi-Fi which means a faraway friend(for this option you and your friend must have a friend code and have entered it in your Friend Roster.)
