How do you visit people in Animal Crossing?

I'm a master at all the AC games so I'll tell you how to on all three of them

First one for game cube you only need two memory cards and you put the other memory card in the other slot and WALA you can go to the other town throught the memory card, on Wild world for ds you can either wireless communicate with the world "you need to trade eachothers friend codes" or you can stay in the stame area with your friends or brother and communicate without the friend codes, and on city folk, you need to do the same thing trade eachothers friend code, i never communicated with anyone on city folk yet, when i find out I'll improve the ansnwer.

When you talk to them, they sometimes say that they want to come to your house. And they will ask what time they will go. Be sure that you are in your house in time.

You need to talk to a person until they ask you if they can come see your house, then pick a time for them to come over
