1. Get these skills all up to 100: Barter, Lockpick, Medicine, Repair, and Small Guns. 2. Don't play the game trying to get neutral ore good karma. The game is programmed to give you bad karma. To regain good karma, you have to do 3 good deeds to get rid of 1 bad deed. 3. Do any thing to conserve your caps. 4. Steal everything you can in the beginning of the game and sell it to anyone you can.

Beating Fallout 3You play along the main quest until you complete "Take it Back!" quest. Behind vault 101, if you keep traveling on you will find smith and caseys garage inside will be roaches. you will search inside to find a trap door inside you will have a staircase leading to the entrance of vault 112 put on the outfit given and procede to the simulators to tranquility lane. Your dad is inside as a dog. if you want bad karma do what the little girl says if good then find the old lady [i forget her name] and do what she says. after that you and your dad will be free.this isn't the end though. whatever you do don't attack the little girl or youll get a special surprise!

Without the DLC (downloadable content) Broken Steel you win by either sacrificing yourself or making the NPC (non-playable character) finish the final mission. With Broken Steel you just have to survive and prosper
