I would say use methods such as use weapons wisely like don't use the rockets on grunts. Stay back a lot and when you hear a brute ordering their troops to throw grenades move and I mean move. Always try and look out of the map because bungie like adding power weapons in secret places. And aim for the head with the battle rifle is helps alot. Another way is to get a friend there are some great advantages one of the main ones are they can spawn you and they also give the foes a little to think about before they run out shooting the weps.
