As seen in many situations, when a technology is introduced that makes tasks simpler, or completes them entirely, the humans using them may become reliant entirely on that technology. This is because we take "simple" things for granted, and over time, we forget that we can do most of the things ourselves that we developed the technology for, (e.g. : Calculating in Math, harvesting plants, cleaning... the list goes on and on).
-
Essentially, imagine the Matrix happening - we create so many high processing power machines that can do all of our thinking for us, they basically replace us.
-
This is not to say all technology is bad: many machines, such as Computed Tomography scanners (CT scanners) do things far beyond our capabilities as humans, and many other forms of technology just make things safer for us.
I believe that that is a matter of opinion.
