Normally, people would say you can't.......but I figuired out a cheat that really works!!!!!!!!!! If you want your sim to propose to a boy you have to do the kiss icon on the screen 2 or 3 times (they have to accept the kisses). I have the ps2 version and it worked on there but im sure it will work on the psp one 2.

It depends whether you are on sims2 or not, if you are on sims 2 you make them fall in love untill their relationship metre is up to munber 75 but it could be less, but 75 is the highest untill you can propose. Anyway you then click on one of your sims and then make him/her click on your other sim then you click on propose then marrige/ get engaged and there you are! If you are on sims 3 you will have to make them love each other untill they are boyfriend and girlfriend/ going steady where you will then probably be able to propose. You click on propose then get married!
