Oysters can be eaten raw as long as they are fresh. To cook them, you can boil them, bake them, or barbecue them! mmmmm... good stuff!
only a couple of hours
As long as your willing to eat them. This is a tough question to answer. If the oysters were on the verge of spoiling prior to cooking then that changes everything. It also depends on how they were cooked. Fried oysters will be fine refrigerated for a few days where as oyster stew will be good for just about a week. Seriously I wouldn't eat cooked oysters more than 3 or 4 days old.
Frozen oysters could last up to four months.

It is a good idea to avoid all raw seafood during pregnancy. Sushi, oysters etc.
Yes you can. In fact the taste AMAZING. They are REALLY good!
As short a time as possible, basically as long as it takes for the batter to cook. Oysters will shrink and become tough if cooked too long.
pasta salad goes good with oysters and prawns! if you want a recipe look it up on cooks.com
Flax Seed oil has a healthy mixture of different fats, mono and poly unsaturated and the oysters themselves have omega-3. All of these fats are essential to a healthy diet. The oysters are also protein rich and can be considered a good source of whole protein and Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) On a downside the canned smoked oysters are probably heavy on the sodium.
