They never released a second Halo 1 and Halo: Combat Evolved is Halo 1. My source is Wikipedia; type in Halo 1, it will come up with Halo: Combat Evolved.

Yes I believe Halo 1 is harder than Halo 3 on easy. In Halo 1 you take significantly more damage in Halo 1 from each shot.

They are both good, but halo 1 for PC has great maps and you can make custom ones, but halo 2 has that feature too. i would recommend halo 2
