With theUS standard of living and manufacturing wages, the cost to manufacture severalproducts in the US means that they can't be sold here. The same product,manufactured in another country, shipped here, and priced according to the costof manufacturing it over there, can be bought at a much lower price.(That's one reason why so many US manufacturers do their manufacturing in othercountries, even if they're going to bring their stuff back here to sell it.)
