They are a proprietary form of mask ROM, which in layman's terms means the game is printed onto it during manufacturing. Traditionally, the NDS game cards hold up to 4Mb, or 512 MB. I personally expect DS games (or 3DS games, which might be based on the same tech) to break that 4Mb limit. Well, shatter it, much like we've seen with SDHC cards reaching 32GB. Theoretically, storage is limited only by manufacturing costs and software. That is, on the one hand, Nintendo can only fit as much onto the disk as they can afford without affecting their bottom line. On the other hand, the game system has to be able to support the extra storage. I believe the DS is currently rather limited on that front, although a simple firmware update on the DSi or the DSiXL should be able to remedy that. Theoretically, these game cards should be able to hold Wii-sized games on the 3DS.
no, unless you are migrating them into your ds game to catch at Palpark after you receive the national pokedex
With ds you can wirelessly trade or wifi trade. with gb gbc and gba you have to trade with a cable. To igrate a gba pokemon to a ds game you need to have the gba in the gba slot of a ds lite and the ds game in the ds slot of the ds
To transfer Pokemon, your ds game should be in the ds, and the gb game in the gb cartridge. (Make sure you have transferring Pokemon in your party.) Starting up your ds game you should see an option to migrate Pokemon to your game. The Pokemon will migrate to Pal Park, where you have to catch them. ;) *Once you migrate, they cannot go back.*
fuschia city, kanto u can only go in if u migrate Pokemon from gb game or if u playin gb game put ds game in same ds on menu screen it says migrate then do it and so on.
if you mean on DS, insert the game cartridge and press the rightmost button, if you have a separate GB game cartridge.
Up to 32GB
Nintendo 3DS game cards are outwardly same as DS cards, except that they are white (as opposed to the DS cards' black) and have a small tab on the side to prevent them from being inserted into other DS systems. 3DS game cards are also known to have a much higher memory storage density than DS cards, at apparently 1-8 GB to the DS's 8-512 MB.
well gb gbc gba ds?
wal-mart ,target,best buy,maybe game-stop,
Depends on what kind of game system it is
A single layer game has around 4.37 GB while a dual layer game has around 8 GB
No it is on DS.
