Video Games are very addicting.. I used to play longer than 5hrs a day on my young days. Now i play 1 or 2hrs the most.mainly because it affects your sight.. You start blinking alot. Eventually you will need glasses. Kids should play 1-2hrs The most

∙ 10y agoThere is no agreed upon time for how long people should play video games.
Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, etc. say that 1 hour followed by a 15 minute break is a good practice.
The only time one is playing too much video games is when playing interrupts important things such as homework and/or social time, etc.

If the child can distinguish the difference between a game and reality. If the child goes and starts imitating the video game then obviously that child should not be allowed to play the game. It's all a judgment on the child's maturity level and thinking pattern. I think that children can get away from the world if they have problems. its like a haven just to get away from reality and be a hero. Some games can be too violent but its fun and it's pleasurable.

If you are looking for violence in games that are not M rated you should get Final Fantasy games. If you are allowed to play M games you should get Manhunt, Bioshock, or any of the Halo games.
