Alot of people have said that Gaara likes Matsuri or Sari or Sakura, but they are all FAKEE!! Gaara does not *like* anyone in that way. Sure hes been liked but he does not like anyone. Alot of people hate Matsuri and I agree with them. I think Its stupid for her to like Gaara because I bet you if she knew him in the chunin exam she would probably scream and run away. Gaara is NOT the silent romantic type because he dosen't like anyone. If the creator of Naruto made gaara love or *like* or even get a girlfriend I think it would ruin Naruto. Gaara is better the way he is, thats how it shows expression with Gaara's charachter so if Gaara got a girlfriend I would and im sure alot of other people would also hate that. BUT HEY! It is unknown. Sabaku no Gaara is his only name we know of. His surname isn't revealed. I don't think Gaara has another name besides Sabaku No Gaara but that's just my opinion. Yes, Gaara has no last name. Neither does Kankuro or Temari, seeing as they are brothers and sister. I do not believe TenTen has a last name either. Gaara only goes by Sabaku no Gaara, meaning Gaara of the Desert or Gaara of the Sand. Many people (now) call him Gaara-sama when he is Kazekage.

they both have demons inside them called demon foxes gaara is i think the 3 tails and nartos the kyuubi (9 tails) <edit> actually gaara had the ichibi (one tail) - i don't think its a fox... it doesnt even really look like a fox. gaara has the shukaku. a one tailed thing. it doesnt really look like an animal. and naruto have the 9 tailed fox in him. their opposite jinchurikis. the shukaku is the weakest of the tailed beasts and the kyuubi is the strongest of the tailed beasts. naruto and gaara were both hated when they were kids. but naruto made friends eventually. and gaara didnt have any friends. gaara trusted only his uncle. but his uncle tries to kill him and the shukaku or gaara kills him. many people tried to kill gaara. nobody tried to kill naruto (when he was little i mean). gaara never made friends. naruto did. even though naruto was the strongest jinchuriki and gaara was the weakest jinchuriki, gaara was hated way more than naruto. (guess because it was more obvious espacially from his insomnia and he started killing people). even when gaara apologized to a kid that the shukaku hurt, the kid still hated him. even tamari and konkuro didnt like him until they become a team i guess
