If you are asking how many can play with splitscreen then it is four.

If you are asking on system link or Online then it is I believe 16 or 18. I haven't played it in a while.

2 Players in splitscreen (if your playing on a console) and 4 if you are using system link or xbox live, same thing for computer but there is no splitscreen option.
