Everywhere I've been, these consoles in good working condition are going for $30 - $60. It also depends on condition, if it has the original box, or a new 72 pin connector. The value of games depend on the title.

This depends very much on where you buy it, the condition of the packaging / cartridge, and the rarity and popularity of the game. Notably unpopular games like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde can sell for less than a dollar, while a mint condition copy of Super Mario Bros. could sell for over $1,000.
