Well it depends on which logs you plan to use. It is quite easy to work out but I'll do it for you coz I'm nice lol. :) :p

WILLOW LOGS:

Xp until 99 Firemaking = 13mil (13,000,000)

Cost Per Log = 10 gp

Xp Per Log = 90 xp

Amount of Logs Required = Max 150k

Total Cost = Max $1.5mil

MAPLE LOGS:

Xp until 99 Firemaking = 13mil (13,000,000)

Cost Per Log = 36 gp

Xp Per Log = 135 xp

Amount of Logs Required = Max 100k

Total Cost = Max $3.6mil

YEW LOGS:

Xp until 99 Firemaking = 13mil (13,000,000)

Cost Per Log = 500 gp

Xp Per Log = 202

Amount of Logs Required = Max 65k

Total Cost = Max $32.5mil

MAGIC LOGS:

Xp until 99 Firemaking = 13mil (13,000,000)

Cost Per Log = 1.3k

Xp Per Log = 303 xp

Amount of Logs Required = Max 43k

Total Cost = Max $56mil

Recommended: Maple Logs

Reason: MUCH cheaper than Yew Logs and Magic Logs. Although they are over double the price of Willow Logs, they are much quicker xp. In total they don't cost too much. And hey, your getting a 99 skill! :) :p

Getting firemaking from level 60 to level 99 using willows will require about 134954 willow logs if using bonfires. It would cost you about 2.8m worth of willow logs or more if using the traditional firemaking method. Some money will be earned back with runes, firelighters and ashes from the fire spirits. It will take about three-four weeks if you play at least five hours a day.
