It really depends on wheither you look after your sims or not, if they don't suffer from any diasease and aren't always moving houses.
Anyway, here are some way(s) to prevent your sims from dying if you dont want them to:
- use the aging cheat: open the cheat box and type in 'agesimscheat on' and pick your sims' age!
