How to install mod into GTA SA?

First of all download and install the GTA San Andreas sannybuilder program(http://sannybuilder.com/) . At the time of writing (July 2008) the up to date version is 3.03. During the install, there is a prompt to allow installation of cleo3 capability. Install this as it is cruical.

Once the installation is over a folder will have been created at your GTA:SA directory

.....\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\CLEO

Any cleo mods you want to use must be placed in here in order for them to work.

You can

Just put the file of gasoline in Cleo folder. The file's extension will be '.cs'.

Then Add the file of extension '.txd' in the folder models/txd. You have done it.

For Example,

1) Just put the file .cs in GTA San Andreas/Cleo folder.

2) Then put the file .txd in GTA San Andreas/Models/txd folder.

It depends you can use the San Andreas Mod Installer (SAMI) to mod Cars. Are you trying to mod cars or other stuff?

After you install cleo put files with .cs or .cm in the cleo folder in your san Andreas main folder.

Put files that end with .gxt or .fxt in the cleo text folder in your cleo folder.

all you have to do is to literally type in cleo 3 into your web browser and you will get to all these links, click the first one. By the way cleo 4 is out.
