okay, so after you unlock the gnome you hit the pause/start button. After that without hitting anymore buttons, put in the cheat code your trying to use. After you type in the cheat code, hit the pause/start buttom to get out of the menu. Then, if you go to the gnome and open it, or "click" on it, then you should be able to select the cheat and there ya go! Good luck!!
