Well, I do not know what your pet is at all like, so I will simply describe mine. I am, by the way, a retired French tutor that taught for sixteen years to high school students. So I know my materials. In English: My parrot is red and soft. She is loud and has big wings. She is my best friend. In French: Mon perroquet est rouge at mou. Elle est forte et a de grandes ailes. Elle est ma meillure amie. Now I will go one step further. I will describe a common dog, and a common cat. ---- DOG: In English: My dog is small and hyper. He is all brown, except for a little white spot on his nose. In French: Mon chien est petit et hyper. Il est tout brun, excepte` une petite tache blanche sur son nez. CAT: In English: My cat is very lazy and fat, with stripes like a tiger. She does not like anybody, except for me and my mother. In French: Mon chat paresseux et gros, avec des raies comme un tigre.
