I can't connect my DSi to wireless and all visible connections have a grey lock what can I do?
You need to know the encryption key. If your own wireless router's SSID is visible on the DSi, then it's a simple matter of entering the same encrpytion key as your computer uses to connect to it.
If you do not know any of the encryption keys, that's because those networks belong to and are paid for by other people. You aren't supposed to be able to access them without permission (it would be illegal to do so), either sort your own wireless router out, or if that's not possible, get a Nintendo wireless USB device which plugs into your computer and lets your DSi connect that way. Lastly, there are free public wi-fi spots in some places, like McDonalds restaurants, you are free to use those and they have no encryption.
