You'd only get the DSI for the camera,sound studio and the flipnote studio.But if you have TTDS it somehow doesn't work:'(.You can only use games for the DS for the DSI,not gameboy games either because you can play gameboy games on the DS.(shame).
Me personaly would recomend a Dsi XL because it has games stored already inside it and it is the same of a dsi but larger

They are barely any different. The DSi XL has better screens and a longer battery life, but it's not easy to carry because it's much bigger. Since the DSi is cheaper, I would recommend that, unless you have problems with your sight, or if you would use it regularly with others (the XL is designed for other people to watch you play)
