Nathan and Alisa must be currently living on the Island or the marriage can not happen. If they have moved away you must wait for them to come back before you will be able to get married.

To get Denny to marry you you need to give him something he loves or likes every day (he will then get a music note above his head, but only give him one thing every day or he will say I've had enough!) Are you friends with the Harvest Goddess? Is your island 50% complete? Have you met all the main characters? (including Mark) You must be friends with the harvest goddess, upgrade your house and most likely your island will be 50% complete ( if you do not know how to check just go to menu, assets and at the top screen you will see it!) FYI before you propose please make sure your main characters are all there andif he still does not accept, try giving some more gifts... if it still does not work than... find some one else!
