Keep annoying her and then she'll ask you to carry her. She tells your she lost her blue stone (the spiritual stone) and something weird is going on with juba-juba. You'll later lose her during your expedition. After your find your way through the dungeon and defeat the boss, Ruto will be there and complain about how long it took you to find her.

But now since you need the spiritual stone you need to marry her.....
