Once you find Farmer Giles, he will give you a picture of his son. Find his son. You will find out he is gay. Go to Bowerstone Market and find someone for the son. Once you show the picture and get an ok, head back to Farmer Giles. Now if you show the picture to a girl and go back, the son will ask his father to move to the city with him. You can now buy the farm.

To save Giles in Fable 2, you must first do the quest to recruit Garth at his tower. After you complete that quest, you the quest to help Giles. Go to the Brightwood Farm or track the quest. You talk to Giles and he asks you to kill the Bandit Ripper. You follow the glowing path to the bandit camp where you fight waves of bandits before finally fighting Ripper. Defeat him and you the choice to kill him or spare him for Giles to get his revenge.
