In rune factory 2 how do you move the statues in the dungeons?

you have to do shara's first quest. And when you click the statue it says something like 'I can rotate this should I?' then it says that the door will open when the statues face eachother. the statue faces must face away from each other. Then the door will open. But the bridge is broken, both sides. So, speak to Daria. She will fixed the bridge for you.. daria's brige is .....erm.... very artistic.

I might totally be getting this wrong though, because I had the same problem, in the end I was just messing around with the statues and it opened. :P lol

You have to be your child to do this. You just go up and talk to them and they'll tell you what you need to do to make them disappear
