In the game Zelda and the Spirit tracks how do you get past the cave where you have to fing the ring to pay the bridge man so you can get to the Ocean relm?

I'm in the same place and I'll tell you how far I've got. First, go into the cave he tells you to, which is in the lower left hand corner. Go all the way across and to the other side. Then go to the right until you see this strange statue that has different colored balls coming out of it. Then take out your Flute. Play the highest note, then one note lower, and another lower, and keep going down until you get to the second to last note. If you listen to the statue, it will faintly play the tune and you can just copy it. Then, after you play it, it will go up into the sky and shoot a beam toward the top right corner. The beam will shoot toward the water.

Follow the beam and you'll see it point to a purple glass ball. Hit it with the boomerang. A path will open up. Take a bomb (which is to your right) and go across the path that opened up, then blow up the crack with the bomb. Go inside.

There will be a lot of little bad guys. You can kill them if you want. Then play the flute next to the two diamonds and they will shoot out little beams. Go where they cross.

Now, the letter says take 4 steps north and 6 steps west from where the beams cross. When I did, nothing happened. That's how far I got. I hope you can figure out what to do next. And I hope I helped you this far. :)
