you need to make one of your villager to master in three skill,that will make him an esteem elder and get a totem.then place the totem exactly in the middle of the ancient mosaic (where you can see a picture like sun there).then the last piece will appear there

Piece no.1:

Make cutting tools to remove overgrown vegetation around the village. After acquiring Exploration Tech Level 2, drag a Master Scientist to the northern part of the village to the rocks by the twisted wood and vines. Something will be discovered and two trips will be required to make special tools. You then drag any villager with the building preference onto the thorns.

Piece no.2:

Master six plants located around the village. You will know each plant is mastered when a message appears on screen. Starting with the odd-looking plant just left of the very dry grass in the northwest part of the village, move clockwise toward the blue flower between the thorns and rocks. Next find the small lavender flower at the north end of the graveyard, followed by the black flowers by the waterfall. Proceed to the reddish flowers south of the dam. Close with the orangish-red flower at the south edge of the village. You then drag a villager onto the cauldron after purchasing level 2 of exploration (cauldron will appear at the bottom of the screen next to the driftwood), and they will put it next to the fire, they use it to make to make herbal stews. Drop another villager onto the cauldron and it will say "starting to prepare stew".

Recipe to get second gong piece (drop a villager on top of the violet plant up at the top near the sacred area of the dead, and two other villagers on top of the orange blossom at the very bottom. Once the herbs have been put in the pot, drop another villager on the cauldron and he/she will put water in it. You do that once again and they will put food in it. Once they have done that, your stew is ready, and you drop a villager onto it and they will eat it. Once they have ate it, it will say "feels no need to breathe" and you drop him/her into the pond and they will retrieve the second gong piece.

Piece no.3:

You get three Master builders and drop them all onto the crate next to the sea. Then you drop one of them onto the little gong piece you see. (that was a quick one to explain).

Piece no.4:

You must create the Esteemed Elder, which requires having one villager become a master in three skills. A totem is created in the village, you need to have Level 2 of the exploration, AND culture techs and you put a villager with their skill reference set as building onto the ancient ruins at the bottom. It will take a while. When you have uncovered the ruins, you put the totem pole in the middle of the ruins and a piece of the gong will appear and you place a villager on it to add it to the encasement.
