GoldWave is not a free software; it offers a trial version that allows users to test its features for a limited time. After the trial period, a license must be purchased to continue using the full functionality of the program. However, some basic features may remain available in the trial version, but with restrictions.

A few filters can sometimes grant isolated vocals through GoldWave. However, the closest that you can get is the beta GoldWave's Stereo Center, which attempts to retain the 'center channel' that holds the lead vocals. Try downloading the freeware version of Goldwave, open the MP3 and use remove vocals option. When saving it will save in a .wav format, so you will need to recompress the audio file with a MP3 converter.
