Is Master Chief insane

It may seem like Master Chief would be insane, due to his almost incessant involvement in violent acts and his lack of personal relationships. But is he truly insane? He does not have any mood swings, hallucinations or even antisocial behavior. In fact, his behavior, when viewed in the light of his upbringing and his dedication to his own morals, seems to be very stable indeed.
