Jagex's most popular websites are FunOrb and Runescape. FunOrb which is basically a site containing all games made by Jagex. However, Jagex are also developing a new game; Mechscape. Check out the Jagex website for more information on their business and games.
It has been delayed twice and Jagex are thinking about another 1.5 years google Mechscape to find out more.......
jagex has said time and time again but no one not even jagex knows when moparscape will be released.Just wait it will soon come out.
probably never... First jagex said that it would be released in "Q1 2009" meaning 1st quarter of 2009, then they said late spring... Now its the summer and guess what? Still no Mechscape. To be honest, I don't even think jagex knows the answer to this question.
Jagex is making a new game called Stellar Dawn.
MechScape is the rumored game being made by Jagex Ltd, a Java-based computer company that made DeviousMUD, Runescape Classic, and Runescape 2, along with FunOrb and numerous other games. It has been officially confirmed in 2005/2006, and it should, apparently, be released in the 3 or 4Q of 2009. There is a fan site enlisting information and a forum about mechscape at www.mechscapeworld.com. Mechscape is based around space, and the characters will be "mechs", robotic-like figures, but, so far, this is a lot of the only information available. Check the link for more information.
Yes, it has had graphical updates, but there wont be a newer runescape, but they are making a new game, called Mechscape.
Runescape 3 won't be coming out, there are fake sites for it though, but they are the same as Runescape 2 and they contain Key loggers and stuff, so be safe, stick with Runescape 2 and classic. Edit by English: RuneScape 3 (as said above) will not be coming out. JaGex has said this multiple times. However, a new game called MechScape has been mentioned recently, and it is supposed to be similar in an RPG style game, but JaGex clearly stated that it will take place more into the 'future' (rather than the RuneScape ages).
Definitely it is very successful. According to JAGeX, Runescape will be their main focus until, 2012. After that, it may become what Runescape classic is now, basically, abandoned. JAGeX has 3 other M.M.O.R.P.G.'s "in-the-works", one being Mechscape, the names of the other 2 haven't been released, as of, February 2009.
No. MechScape is more like Robots while RuneScape ''was'' like olden times but now they updates make it more "futurely". MechScape is more likely to be linked to Adventure Quest or AQWorlds.
The only way to become a Jagex Moderator is to be employed by Jagex itself. This means that you will need to be successful in an application for one of the available positions. After you have started working you will be given a Jagex Moderator character for work purposes. We do not upgrade game characters to Jagex Moderators and you cannot use these characters to play the game on.
Jagex Limited is the game studio responsible for the MMO game Runescape. As of 2014 they are currently looking for a marketing manager.
