In my opinion, minecraft is worth the money.

Minecraft is fun because you are allowed to roam free, you can mine, you can cut down trees, make a house, and more!

At nighttime, monsters such as Creepers, Zombies, Skeleton Archers, and Spiders come out, your job is to survive!

You can play Minecraft Classic, it's outdated, but it's still free. I prefer Minecraft Beta, It's a lot more fun in many people's opinion!

I do not know anything about Minecraft Alpha, but I hear you still have to buy it. I believe it's an early version of Minecraft Beta, So I think Minecraft Beta would be better to buy.
