Is Skyrim bad for a 12 year old?

i let my 12 year old son play skyrim there are moments like people being beheaded and when your character does a power kill he slits throats but i would say it is appropriate for 15 but depends how you child acts like if he/she always talks about death and killing people then i wouldn't.

yes, if you look at th game it looks like blood,murder and cutting heads of but actually you can just buy a house and live a normal life or be a hunter who just hunts dear and elk or you could be a explorer who looks for plants and mushrooms to sell. The game is also quiet logical because you have to solve the puzzles and try not to activate hidden traps. You also can read books which you find,buy or steal.In total their are more than 500 different books in the game!You also have to be pecient sometimes if you want to assassinate or pickpocket someone. So i think it OK for kids and teens.

It all depends on your moral beliefs. The game does have some inappropriate/more adult content than an 11 year old would understand. There is blood violence, alcohol drunk people and assassination quests. The game is fine for someone like 14 or 15 or older. So anyone a little younger it would really be up to the parent.

In the game Skyrim you battle (which means killing) people and creatures and when they die there is blood but it is minimal and I personal think the game should be fine for a 12 year old. There are also some kind of freaky looking monsters. But all in all I think its fine.

It depends what game. i was playing GTA when i was 4 or 5 and Call of Duty when i was ten or younger. How ever, shooting games (like GTA IV and V) that have more adult content (strip clubs, swearing, etc) should be avoided
