Since the creation of Morrowind these two swords have had a rivalry among players, and I chose Goldbrand... also because you cannot drop Umbra if you do not get it during the quest for Clavicus Vile. Umbra also seems to be more of an evil blade, and since i like good guy stuff, I chose Goldbrand.
