I do not believe you can turn those off, yet it depends what age range the kids are, I am 12, and play it, because there's only like 5 curses in the game, and then the multiplayer has 100% clean language, and something you could say, don't say it's blood, say it's jelly.
Maybe you shouldn't play it at all. It IS rated M, after all.
M(Mature)-17+
However, no one ever seems to care about the rating, so you're probably in the clear to play.
But seriously, if you're offended by cussing and blood in video games, then don't play this because this is a war game, which means lots of killing.
Because it is during a very intense war and a lot of stress is in war and stress can cause people to cuss. I dont like it how they cuss so much in the game hopefully they dont cuss as much in the next Call of Duty.

The other Call of Duty games for the PS3 have ESRB rating of Mature and contain the following: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare- Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language Call of Duty: World at War- Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2- Blood, Drug Reference, Intense Violence, Language Call of Duty: Black Ops- Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language
Yes but then No. Call Of Duty is a game for older kids. Probably for 12 and older. Younger kids should not be aloud to play Call Of Duty. And yes, Call Of Duty does cuss a lot. If you don't want your child being exposed to that language, then I asure you not to buy that game.-SillyJill
