It doesn't really matter which way round you have it but you need to make sure that it is off the floor so that it doesn't get over heated. If it does get over heated then you need to turn it off for about half an hour and then after that it will be OK. Also f you get red lights on your xbox while you are playing then it possibly is over heating but usually it would have to be took into care so you just need to phone up to the place that you bought it from and then it will take about 2 weeks to be returned but they will either fix it or you will get a brand new one but you will not have to pay.
