Is it illegal for some one to pay an illegal Allen cash for work they do at private residencies?

Not only is it illegal you are opening yourself to all sorts of other potential problems. There was recently a case in the news where an illegal who was working on someones house fell off the roof and got seriously injured. The illegal sued the homeowner for a couple of hundred thousand and won. The homeowners policy would not pay because the home owner committed a crime by hiring an illegal so the guy was on the hook for the whole judgment.

Hire people who have insurance and are legally allowed to work in this country and you wont have to worry about this

I personally know some one who hired a couple of Mexicans to cut down a tree in his yard because they would do it cheap. Needless to say the tree fell on his neighbors house and they all ran away. The police came to his job and got him after this happened and he got sued big time by his neighbor. Thank god his homeowners policy paid off the judgment but his premiums went thru the roof.
