honestly it depends on what other games he/she plays. if they play other violence games, yes. if that is their first video game, definitely not

Absolutely, MW2 is fine for a 14 year old, and if you want to, you can take out the more graphic missions.
No legally you must be 18 however there are allot of 11-14 year old's on the game, so i think it would be ok along as you don't let them stay on it all day.
Modern Warfare 3 is so popular because it appeals to a young generation with its violence. For example, if a 13 year old had a bad day, he could take it out on the delta force with a M 14. Plus Modern Warfare 3 is a highly commercialized video game. It even has its own web sight. Overall Modern Warfare 3 is appealing because of online playing mode and new survival mode.

14 years old are playing it that is for sure. No it is rated higher than that, but there are pre teens playing the game that there parents have purchased. Certainly no one could ever charge a parent as unfit because they allowed there child to play MW3 even if it is rated for adults
Call of Duty 5 came out Novemeber 14, 2008. The latest is Black Ops being released Novemeber 2010. And this year we go back to Modern Warfare and Infinity Ward for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3
