Is G compatible network.
The PS3 is Wireless g the other Playstation models do not come with WiFi
The PlayStation 3 system (slim and fat) uses wireless G. I think it's kinda stupid that it doesn't use wireless N but whatever.
n
Any wireless cards that support Wireless-N will support Wireless-G. However cards that support Wireless-G will not necessarily support Wireless-N
The PlayStation 3 does not use the wireless N and uses the less expensive wireless g so most people buy the wireless N which is better than what is needed for the PS3. I purchased one for $80 on sale at best buy and then later saw a much better one for less. After all why not have better in case you get a laptop or other WiFi device
no
Playstation 3 uses Wireless G and most WiFi routers are better than the system required for the PS3. Most are on sale just choose a good name brand router with customer approval or buy a better one that will provide for your laptops, new smart HDTVs, and other products requiring wireless n
It depends on the type of wifi adapter. The 3 most common ones are b, g, and n. First check the type of adapter your laptop has. Mine, for example, is wireless n. If you have a wireless g adapter then upgrading to a wireless n adapter would be a good choice. Alternatively, upgrading you're router to wireless n (if you're laptop is wireless n) would work too.
The same as with wireless G card and G router.
Neither. Both G and N, as well as A and B, are wireless networking standards.
You can use router of G or N type and the same type wireless adapter. Of course you can use wireless N adapter with G-type router and reverse.
Yes. It will operate at G speed.
