Yes you can because there are many single player games that you can play by yourself and have fun with it. Or instead of playing a game, you can take pictures of yourself or your friends and family and do silly stuff to it. You can also record sounds or voices in "Nintendo DSi Sound" and you can pitch your recording high or low and you can make your recording sound weird or scary. Wifi internet isn't the ONLY thing that makes your DSi fun, there's plenty other things you can do with your DSi without internet.

Turn on advanced tools (on that wrench in the top right) and go to your flipnote. Now in the sounds section, press R and select what you want to import. Have fun!

Should you buy a dsi?
I got a DSI myself for Christmas, my mom got it for me. With a DSI you can do so much! You can get internet access with WIFI of course, you can take pictures with it and put them on your Facebook, and you can make cartoons! A DSI is simply a better version of just the DS Lite! I HIGHLY recomend and I think you should get one, too. You won't regret making this choice, if you decide to. It's your choice and you shouldn't rely on anybody else's opinion to get a DSI. But I still recomend it. If you do decide to get a DSI, have fun with it!!
