A) it has a lock, and when you flick your wrist, blade comes out.
B) it has a grip that comes to your hand, you squeeze, blade comes out.

If your talking about in the Assassins creed series, no where, there is no such thing as a "third" hidden blade, only in script modifications. If your talking about real hidden blades, just make one.

Well.. i don't know for sure but in assassins creeed brotherhood which is based on true historical events, Leonardo da vinci didnt exactly invent it but he redesigned it for his friend who already had the blade but it was an earlirer ..crapier version and model of the hidden blade. thatdss all i got :/
