Whether Azeroth is flat or round has been the subject of many feuds, and the Explorer's League has lost more than a couple of parties in pursuit of the answer.
(Most just end up in a tavern somewhere arguing over it rather than actually risking falling over the edge.)
Azeroth is the name of the whole planet in World of Warcraft. It includes Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Northrend. Outlands, although a not techinally part of Azeroth, is usually included when someone mentions Azeroth.
Round is an infinitely more efficient design to accommodate the rotations, orbits and movements of the planets and galaxies. Can't imagine a "flat-disk" planet-design doing (or trying to do) what the round, circular design does.
