Bedrock is the hardest stone, and cannot be broken in any way in pure unmodded survival. End portal frame blocks are also indistructible and cannot be destroyed in any way. The third hardest material is obsidian, as the only means of destroying it is mining it with a diamond pick for 130 ingame ticks (45 seconds).

The best way to mine Glowstone from in Minecraft is to enchant a pickaxe with Silk Touch and mine the GLowstone in the Nether. This way you can get the whole block without risking just getting two glowstone dust instead of the four you need to craft it.
You can break the block with an iron pickaxe but not gain the drops. Not sure why they added the ores but not the actual redstone. I suggest not mining it so in the future when they add redstone, you have the ores to mine.
Make a pickaxe and click the block you want to mine!Build a pickaxe and mine through the ground with it. DO NOT DIG STRAIGHT DOWN!
you left click on them with any block or your fist and wait for it to break. -_-
You mine gravel, sometimes flint is dropped when you break a block of gravel.
Just mine the diamond ore like any other block
you are playing minecraft offline so you cant play multiplayer
