Is there a cheaper way to get World of Warcraft?

Well I think you keep them anyway because my subscription ran out today and I reloaded a 60 day game card and they are still play-able.

When you stop paying your World of Warcraft subscription, your account is suspended. This means you cannot access the game and possibly lose the ability to post on the forums. You can still access your account details (to re-activate the account, for instance).

Your characters are stored on the Blizzard server farm, and will remain there until Blizzard decides to remove your account permanently. While Blizzard officially say they keep an account for one year, they have been known to restore even older accounts.

Private servers is illegal..so...but u can use several refferal services, which u can get gamecrads by reffering friends, and completing offers. that's legal :D

(Rhyme and Reason) Private servers are NOT illegal. But Blizzard, for natural reasons, frowns upon the use of them and will ban you permanently if you are caught playing on one. The thing is the only way you can really be caught is by blurting out in the game or on the forums that you play on one.

If you want to play the full game then you have to pay for it. There is a free trial account that you can make, but it is very limited in what you can do and who you can talk to.

Basic trial account limits:

• Characters can only level up to level 20
• Characters can not have more than 10 gold on them
• You can not use the AH, mail, trade channels or general channels
• You can not use the yell or city channels
• You can not whisper another player unless they either whisper you first or have you on their friends list
