If they find it useful to have a new game they will come out with one after 2012. Little Big Planet and Little Big Planet 2 are different from other games as they constantly get new levels and new games are not really needed unless they want to make changes that can not be done with add ons and updates. The game developers can just continue adding the DLCs to make there profits.
