There is a myth that if you travel to the area "Tumbleweed in "New Austin" when it is lightening and past 6pm (Game time) you can see ghosts wandering around the large mansion in the area and a half dead horse hitched to a post, but I personally have tried this myth and had no luck.

^True, you can find the ghostly reportings in the newspapers

Sure! There are plenty of Myths in the large world of Red Dead Redemption, ranging from the Tumbleweed Mansion ghosts listed above to a Were Wolf roaming Tall Trees.

  1. A large Black/grey werewolf found in the area of Tall Trees - Beacher's hope, kills with one shot, only appears during a full moon, surrounded by white mist, leaves a trail of blood and you can be led to it by a pack of docile wolves.
  2. Back to Tumbleweed in New Austin, when it is night (game world) head to the church of the town, scrawled on the alter is the words "The Devil has got into that beast" some thought it was a cheat, (nope) and others thought it was referring to what sounds like a rabid dog barking outside the church. You can apparently see the devil in the church windows also.
  3. Blackwater ghost, a man outside or near the bank in Blackwater can be caught saying "I know you, you killed me" upon looking/turning your camera away and back he will disappear.
  4. Some people say you can find Dinosaur foot prints some where in Mexico, though i think they've taken that too far.

I'm very interested in Myths and will probably update as i find more.
