stupididiot109-well really it has to be on otherwize codes wont work
no, you dont have to hook the action replay to the comp to download codes. you can find them and put them in manually. to do this on action replay DS you touch the star on the bottom screen and then either scroll down to the game you want to add codes for or pick add a game at the top. to add a game, enter the name of the game and its id (to find the id put it into the action replay and turn the ds on it will show you the id on the main screen for action replay). To add a code pick add new code at the top of the list and then enter the name of the code (you can call it whatever you want) and after that type in the actual code itself. to locate codes you can try searching on search engines like google. make sure you type it in exactly right or it wont work.
www.supercheats.com/nintendods/pokemonpearlcodes2.htm Has every single action replay code for Pokemon pearl. You wont believe some of the stuff you can do with these codes!
If it comes up saying ''UNOWN GAME'' it means that your Action Replay hasn't got any cheat codes stored for that game. You need to aquire the games ID and then find the codes you want and then store them on your Action Replay.
If your action Replay is the old version, try what I did. This always worked for me. Just put the action replay in WITHOUT the game. Go ahead and run your codes. Now, take your action replay out and put the game in. Then play. The codes work. This always worked for me, I hope it works for u.
There are but they wont work because they are still converting the master code.
The best choice you should always make is to back-up your codes into a "Codelist", just incase something happens. You can always go to the code manager and do a "Quick Update" to put default codes that are on Codejunkies onto your Action Replay.
