On luigi's mansion how do you beat the baby?

All you have to do is rock the horsey cradle thing. Then you will go to this ghost dimension and fight the demonic baby. Then suck up the ball with you p.3000 and spit it back at him(this may require use of the control stick)(yellow stick)

After you beat the baby(his name is Chauncey, in case you were wondering), a treasure chest appears in his room. Open it and you will see a special pink key. After obtaining this key, return to the very first room Luigi appeared in(it has the very first sobbing Toad that you encountered as well, for a point of reference) and the large door that pulsed blue waves will be accessible, opening a way into the first floor of the mansion(your previous excursions were on the second floor).

You use your vacuum to suck up the rocking chair for at least 20 seconds. then the baby will come next to the rocking chair and throw teddy bears at you.

When Chauncey is throwing the balls, you have to suck them up and shoot them back at him, and soon enough, you'll suck him up into your vacuum

Just keep trying to suck them up, if not successful, get one at a time, and when the other is about to damage your health, let go and makes sure you don't die. :)
